The Difference Is HIM was founded by Neil and Kristie Rosado in Oklahoma. It started with a bedtime story, a child's name, and the kind of look on a small face that you spend your whole life trying to remember.
It started at bedtime.
About a year ago, Neil was reading his son Roman a bedtime story. Halfway through, on a whim, he changed the hero's name to his son's name.
Roman's eyes went wide. Mouth open. Pure, unfiltered magic. The kind of look you spend your whole adult life trying to remember what felt like.
Neil started building the next morning.
That moment, repeated for every child every night, is what Dreamspun was built to create. And that moment, replicated for devotionals and Bible stories, is what became His Path and Lampside.
Three apps now live on the App Store. One small Oklahoma family behind them.

Neil is a non-technical solo founder turned faith-tech builder. He's the one who turns a calling into code, an idea into a working product. Most of the code in Dreamspun, His Path, and Lampside was built nights and weekends from a home office in Oklahoma.
Kristie is the heart of the operation. She's the one who sees a hurting person and sits down beside them. Her voice shapes the brand, the warmth, the tone.
Together they are raising a son named Roman, who is the original reason any of this exists.

The Difference Is HIM, LLC is a small, family-run technology company based in Oklahoma. Under the TDIH Family Labs brand, we build faith-centered iOS apps for Christian families.
Every app exists to serve a specific moment in the day of a real family. Dreamspun for bedtime. His Path for daily devotion. Lampside for Bible stories before sleep.
We are not venture-backed. We are not a giant company. We are two people, one home, three apps, and the belief that technology can be small, careful, and good.
