The Difference Is HIM, LLC ("TDIH," "we," "us," or "our") is a faith-based technology company located at 2524 N Broadway STE 554, Edmond, OK 73034. We operate TDIH Family Labs, a portfolio of faith-centered iOS and Android applications.
Information we collect
We collect only the information necessary to provide our services:
- Account information: Your name and email address when you create an account using Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google.
- Subscription information: Subscription status and purchase history, managed by RevenueCat. We do not store payment card details. All payments are processed by Apple or Google.
- App usage data: Streak counts, devotional history, prayer journal entries, and story preferences, used solely to personalize your experience.
- Child profiles (Dreamspun, Lampside, KidVerse): A child's first name and age range, provided by a parent or guardian. No other information is collected about minors.
- Device information: Device type and operating system version, used for technical support and app compatibility.
How we use your information
- To generate personalized AI content through our apps via the Anthropic Claude API
- To manage your subscription via RevenueCat
- To sync your data and progress across devices via Supabase
- To deliver ElevenLabs voice narration within the apps
- To send optional push notifications (you may opt out at any time in your device settings)
- To respond to support requests
We never sell your data
TDIH Family Labs does not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. Ever. Our business model is subscriptions, not data.
Children's privacy (COPPA compliance)
Our children's apps (Dreamspun, Lampside, KidVerse) are designed for use by children under direct parental supervision. We comply fully with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
- We collect only a child's first name and age range, provided by a verified parent or guardian
- We do not permit children to create independent accounts
- We do not display advertising to children
- We do not share children's information with third parties except as required to deliver the service (Anthropic API for story generation, ElevenLabs for narration, Supabase for data storage)
- Parents may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their child's information at any time by contacting us at privacy@thedifferenceishim.com

Our apps use the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

Data retention and deletion
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing privacy@thedifferenceishim.com with the subject line "Delete my account." We will complete deletion within 30 days.
Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), Supabase Row Level Security for data access control, and we never store payment information on our servers.
Changes to this policy
We will notify users of material changes to this privacy policy via email and in-app notification at least 30 days before changes take effect.
