Faith is personal.
Your devotional should be too.
The story behind The Quiet Room.
His Path was built on a simple belief: God meets each of us right where we are, in our specific moment, with a specific word.
For too long, devotional apps have treated every person the same. The same plan. The same daily verse. The same content for someone in grief and someone in joy. For the mother of three working through anxiety and the teenager wrestling with doubt. For a soul on fire and a soul barely hanging on.
But faith doesn't work that way. You don't work that way. Your relationship with God isn't one-size-fits-all, so why should your devotional be?
But you, when you pray, go into your inner room, close your door and pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you. — Matthew 6:6
The Quiet Room
In The Difference Is HIM, every app is a "room": a specific space for a specific moment in family life. His Path is The Quiet Room: the morning chair. The early hour. The cup of coffee before the day begins. The space where you turn toward Him before anything else asks for your attention.
We didn't want another generic devotional app. We wanted a room you could actually walk into, and find Him waiting there with the exact word you needed.
How it came to be
Neil and Kristie Rosado founded The Difference Is HIM at a kitchen table in Oklahoma, long before any product existed. They signed a covenant: that everything built would point back to Jesus. That up to 50% of every dollar earned would fund ministry. That faith-and-family wouldn't be a marketing angle but the actual foundation.
His Path is part of that covenant. It's not just an app. It's a room. And every morning someone walks into it, the difference isn't the AI. The difference isn't the design. The difference isn't even the words.
The difference is HIM.
A note on the AI
We use AI to generate the devotional content. But the AI is a servant, not a source. Every devotional is grounded in Scripture, structured around classical Christian theology, and reviewed for theological soundness. The technology is just the means. The Word is what matters. The Spirit is what works.
If AI helps a tired mom hear a verse she needed at 6:14 on a Tuesday morning, then it has done its job. The Holy Spirit is fully capable of using whatever tool is in His hand.
